The Volunteer Center
is a valuable resource for businesses – large or small –
seeking to engage their employees in volunteer activities. Corporate volunteer involvement translates directly to a healthier bottom line; research indicates that socially responsible companies are more attractive to both consumers and employees.
The
Northern New Jersey Business Volunteer Council
(BVC)
is a coalition of companies
that develops and implements strategic initiatives designed to strengthen the community. Representatives from member companies meet monthly to network, plan and carry out projects, with support from the Volunteer Center and
United Way. Membership in the
BVC is open to any company with offices, operations or
employees in Northern New Jersey.
Our Business Volunteer Services
department is the companion program to the BVC,
providing consulting services to companies that need assistance with project development and management, program development and growth, special events and other activities as needed. Fees are based on the nature/duration of the consultation.
