Join the Bergen Volunteer Center's BoardLink for a half day workshop based on the book, The Nonprofit Secret: The Six Principles of Successful Board/CEO Partnerships, by author Jonathan Schick.

 

Participants will learn why their nonprofit boards are often riddled with political and functional challenges that creep into the running of the organization, conflict with their operations and inhibit their effectiveness.

He is a dynamic leadership consultant and nationally known speaker who has founded two successful nonprofits and consulted for hundreds of organizations. As the Director of Corporate Engagement for the Bergen Volunteer Center, Erica has over 13 years nonprofit experience working in fundraising and corporate and community engagement. She believes in the power of community partnerships as a vehicle for social change. She created and developed, BoardLink, a board matching and training program for nonprofits and businesses as a way to help nonprofits access volunteer talent. In the workshop, Erica will share how BoardLink can help you access professional talent to raise the level of your board and build meaningful relationships.
