A Smash Success!
Thanks to your generosity, our sold-out pickleball event beat our fundraising goals, empowering us to fulfill our mission to provide human service and training programs to improve lives and strengthen communities.
Our first-ever Pickleball Event and Charity Auction was an overwhelming success! The event was sold out -- all six pickleball courts were packed from start to finish as players of all ages and skill levels battled it out on the courts. In fact, attendees had so much fun that the last court didn't empty until 9:45 PM!
The energy and enthusiasm in the room was palpable. Everyone was smiling, laughing, and having a blast playing pickleball and meeting fellow Bergen Volunteers' supporters. In between matches, attendees mingled upstairs in the lounge area and enjoyed delicious food, wine, and prosecco.
Most importantly, together we raised essential funds that will advance our vital community programs and initiatives. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who came out to play, cheered on participants, bid in the online auction, or made a donation. Your support means the world to us and the youth, seniors, and families we serve. And thank you to our amazing volunteers and sponsors for making this event an incredible success!
